A project celebrating the 30th anniversary of the School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The project ‘The School in RED’ was designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The design was inspired by the linear and regular geometry of the atrium and was conceived to create new areas for social interaction for students, faculty, and staff. Red vinyl patches and diverse types of moveable red furniture were organised to assume infinite spatial configurations, thereby creating a dynamic and flexible space.
